Our range of meats and poultry are authenic holistic product all direct from our farm, and a handful of partner ethical cottage growers.  We are all values- and conviction-led operators passionate about ethical, organic and regenerative farming and dealing direct with consumers so that they are eating paddock-to-plate. We take whole animals and then process them into all the regular cuts. We also make artisan quality value-add products such as sausages, hams and salamis. All the breaking down and packaging is done by hand on the Stanthorpe farm which is a 100% solar-powered facility. It then comes from farm-to-you. You can meet us at the markets, or order online for home delivery, and soon, our farm shop in Brisbane will be open too.

Meanwhile here's our basic ethos and method:

BEEF, PORK, LAMB

  • no mass farming methods
  • no mRNA treatments
  • humanely raised and processed
  • no pesticides or chemical residues are on any pastures where animals are raised
  • no hormones, steroids or growth promotants
  • no GMO
  • true free-range, grass fed and finished (cattle), and pastured in stress-free environments
  • free of artificial preservatives and additives
  • all meats and processed products are gluten free
  • sausages are GF with a small amount of fillers of organic almond flour and herbs, and a natural casing

POULTRY & TURKEY

Our poultry meats are hand-processed weekly and are cryovac packaged for fresh cold delivery or for frozen (fresh).

The grower only processes a few hundred birs per week by hand these days. (That's real small considering other small organic growers do 30,000-100,000 and, FYI Inghams do over 1.5mil). That is definately not our world!

The chickens (and turkeys) have access to forage for natural grasses, insects, and are out in full sun on large acerage areas. They are supplimented with custom natual (and organic) feeds that contain no soy, no hormones, no antibiotics, no growth promotants, no GMO, mRNA, or any artificial inputs or meat by-products.  

SMALL GOODS

Our bacon and value add products contain only natural salt preservatives (Pacific sea salt and pink rock salt), herbs, and no non-naturally occuring or artificial nitrates/nitrites. The bacon and hams are all pickled for 10 days in a brine mix of Pacific Sea salt and naturally-mined pink rock salt and a small amount of organic sugar. They are then wood smoked in local iron bark, saw dust and birch for about one day. This forms the natural preservative and no artificial inputs are added.

ABOUT PACKAGING AND WEIGHTS

All products are cryovac packed except for a couple of products. Bulk packs are made up to the desired weight. However, individual packaged products are approximate weights only which can vary and can't be accurately calculated until your order is packed. For example, a size 15 chicken (1.5KG) could weigh 1.57KG or a 500g tray of beef mince could weigh 620g or 480g. We have set values of typical and common weights so you can order and if there is a variance we may contact you to request an additional payment or we may apply a refund with your order or credit towards your next order, whichever the case may be.
